		Wine Profile

		Tasting Notes
A sublime take on Grenache, this wine showcases an elegant style with plush strawberry fruit and spicy undertones, this silky wine drinks almost smooth, but has a beautiful finesse in the finish.
		Vineyard Notes
Grenache, which is a well established varietal throughout Rhone wine region, as well as Spain, has also found a great home in the Lodi Appellation. Our growers obtain vine balance through the use of shoot thinning, leaf removal, and cluster thinning during the growing season to obtain optimal ripening. This Grenache comes from Aaron Shinn and is from the Mokelumne River Sub AVA of the Lodi Appellation.
		Winemaker Notes
First, the grapes were brought into the winery on 9/10/16 mid-morning while the fruit was still cool. Fruit was de-stemmed to a tank and then cold soaked for a few days. Yeast was then added to the must and the fermentation really started to get going on the 14th. Grapes were then pressed and the juice spent some time in tank going through secondary fermentation before being transferred to barrels where they sat aging before being bottled almost a year later.
